Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great product. Great value.
I'd been buying these filters for years at Kmart, etc. at anywhere from $15 to $20 per filter. They make our tap water taste much better and I feel great that we're filtering out lead and other potentially harmful elements, especially since we use this water for our two young boys as well. Also makes things like pasta and tea taste better, and even at these prices we were saving a bundle vs. buying bottled water not to mention the inconvenience of having to lug those heavy bottles back from the ... Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Great taste, sometimes short life
I have been using this product for over 12 years. My family loves the no-taste. It is very easy to change replacement filter. The only con is that sometimes a new filter lasts for two months and other times just for a week or two with same usage.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - just to make it clear
I read a lot of these reviews and seems that many people have different opinions about these filters. The truth is that these filters are cleaning your water pretty well but they don't last too long. The factory states that the filter is good for filtering 100 gallons of water ....nice statement.....they don't lie as long as your city water is pretty clean and free of debris before entering your filter....but that doesn't happen to often,so the more filthy your city water is the less water your filter ... Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - A Pur rip-off
We picked up a Pur faucet filtration system for my home about six months ago. We also bought a lot of Pur filters. They were very expensive (why does plastic and carbon cost so much?), but we figured that good water was worth it - particularly since we have a little boy.

Our water is city water. It's not bad, but we thought it wouldn't hurt to be a little extra safe. It's just too bad we went with Pur.

The filters are supposed to last for two months or 100 gallons. So far, only ... Read More

Great value for the price. Do not have to worry about not having one available when I need to change filters. Easy to use and fits most faucets.

The first powered cleaner employing a vacuum was patented and produced by H. Cecil Booth, a British engineer, in 1901. He noticed a device used in trains that blew dust off the chairs, and thought it would be much more useful to have one that sucked dust. He tested the idea by laying a handkerchief on the seat of a dinner chair, putting his mouth to it and sucking hard. Upon seeing the dust and dirt collected on the underside of the handkerchief he realized the idea could work. Booth created a large device, known as Puffing Billy, driven first by an oil engine, and later by an electric motor. It was drawn by horses and parked outside the building to be cleaned. Booth never achieved great success with his invention.
