I absolutely love this set. You get the quality of Le Creuset and for the price it's a great deal. I use these for everything; ziti, chicken, potatoes etc. With Le Creuset, the clean up is so easy; you do not have to constantly scrub the pan to get all the brown bits out like with a glass dish.

This set is good for personal use but makes a nice housewarming gift also.

I expected a "9 inch" square baker to be larger than the 8 inch square baker I already have; but this dish isn't. It's immediately apparent when you see it, but I measured it to be sure. Measuring the inside dimensions, the bottom is 7 and 1/2 inches across. It's shallow, about 1 and 3/4 inches deep, and at the very top of the lip, it measures 8 and 1/2 inches across.
