Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Utility with a capital -U-
A wonderfully sharp knife which is light-weight and well balanced with a very ergonomic grip. A delight for everyone needing to slice about anything, from thick to thinnest. The sharpness takes away the need to use any kind of force, so the gentlest pressure will do. Grandma doesn't have that force of yore anymore, so was asking for "a knife that cuts". After having used this knife she is back to being "queen of the kitchen" again. Note: That same sharpness makes it necessary to warn the rest of ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Awesome!
All I can say is anyone who doesn't have a ceramic knife needs to buy to find out just how sharp these things really are!! Using is believing.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - great knife, so sharp
I bought this knife 8 months ago, i was looking for a tomato slicing knife, as although i have a decent set of chicago cutlery knives, they need to be sharpened before slicing tomatoes. I also wanted to try out 'ceramic' knives without a big investment.

This knife is amazing, it's still as sharp as it was the first time i used it and its the only knife i use for slicing veggies.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Outstanding Sharpness
I recently received this knife as a gift and I could not be more pleased. I have used it to trim the fat from a brisket prior to smoking it, and trimming the ends off of vegetables, amongst other things. The trimming of the fat was like cutting through paper. It was so smooth and easy. Trimming vegegtables was a snap, with smooth cuts and no resistance.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - so far so sharp
We bought an equivalent knife (in the ergonomic series). It slices tomatoes beautifully and most soft foods so cleanly it is quite remarkable. We are very satisfied so far, and it is worth the extra expense. It remains to be seen how this knife lasts in real-life service, which is why I gave it 4 stars rather than 5. Otherwise this is an excellent sharp knife which we hope to use for many years. Very fine technology.
