Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Your pet will love this bed, any season, any temp.
I've had two of these beds for over three years and the dogs love them. These are four season beds with the addition of a blanket in the winter months (one of the dogs likes the blanket, the other pulls it off). The folks at the kennel always mention that people bring dogs beds in with their dogs all the time and these are the only ones that dogs actually use when they are here. The beds stay outside year round (temps from 110 in the summer to 25 in the winter -- dogs spend some days and every night ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - My dog loves it!
Great construction, I think it will last a long time. I placed the Coolaroo under my dog's pet bed and he loves it. He has two beds, one in the livingroom and one in the bedroom and usually sleeps in whatever room I am in. Now he only sleeps on the Coolaroo. I had to order two!

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - good for older dog
We keep our large one inside, our 12 yr old lab loves it. Took her some time to get use to it and she likes a pad or blanket on it, but it takes all pressure off her joints. It is starting to sag a tiny bit in the middle, like a hammock,(we have had it for 3 months) but it is not bad yet and easy enough to get a new cover, so not a problem.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Two Thumbs Up
This is the best dog bed ever because:
(1) The dog can NOT chew on it and pull out the stuffing
(2) All the hair and dirt from the dog falls through the small holes in the nylon woven hammock on to the ground below, keeping the bed looking cleaner.
(3) It washes off quickly and easily with a garden hose. No more dog hair in the washer and dryer.
(4) It keeps my old dog elevated of the floor which gets cold in the winter
(5) Dog sometimes scratches the bed with her claws, ... Read More

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Great way to get your dog off the floor
I was looking for a bed for my Great Dane since I could not get a pillow big enough for him to get his whole body on that was a reasonable price. I've seen this bed in shelters and dogs love them. Someone posted a picture of their Shepard on this bed and he had plenty of extra room. When I got this bed it was a bit flimsy and awkward to put together. My Dane initially loved it and I was happy to see that he fit on it as long as he did not try to stretch out. He's since gone back to his pillow but ... Read More

The first powered cleaner employing a vacuum was patented and produced by H. Cecil Booth, a British engineer, in 1901. He noticed a device used in trains that blew dust off the chairs, and thought it would be much more useful to have one that sucked dust. He tested the idea by laying a handkerchief on the seat of a dinner chair, putting his mouth to it and sucking hard. Upon seeing the dust and dirt collected on the underside of the handkerchief he realized the idea could work. Booth created a large device, known as Puffing Billy, driven first by an oil engine, and later by an electric motor. It was drawn by horses and parked outside the building to be cleaned. Booth never achieved great success with his invention.
