I just purchased this vacuum after researching to find the quietest vacuum I could. I definitely made the right choice! The vacuum is so quiet and it sucks up dirt and pet fur great even on the lowest setting. I purchased other brand canisters in the past and they were very loud and very cheaply made (granted I didn't spend as much as I did on this one either). This one is a quality product and I highly recommend it.

had it for almost a year. loved it from day 1. runs quiet and smooth. the cord is long unlike the last canister type i owned made by sharp. the carpet/hard floor nozzle was a little awkward to use at first but after a few times, i'm so used to it. love it!!! i highly recommend this product!

For the first 4 years I loved this vacuum cleaner, then the turbo brush broke. Not the brush itself but a plastic ring that keeps it attached to the hose. I replaced the brush with a regular brush and that one lasted about 6 times and is not powerful enough on the carpet. I now have to decide if I want to buy another turbo brush for $130 or so or if I want to invest in a new vacuum cleaner. If electrolux would have not have used the cheap plastic parts both brushes could have lasted a lot longer. I would not buy this brand again. The plastic parts are too flimsy and do not last.

I bought this vacuum 3 1/2 years ago. We don't have pets, don't wear shoes in the house, there's only three of us, and we use it maybe once a week. Light use by anyone's standards. After 1 1/2 years the rug attachment (with the spinner) failed. I tried to replace the broken piece (roller opening had widened/torn over time and turns and shakes violently in the shaft) - they do not make it easy. I searched the internet and found myself in a vortex of parts, how the heck to you find a replacement rug attachment? You don't. Idiotic. We've been using the hardwood floor attachment since then. Not impressed with this vacuum but am stubborn enough to use it till it falls apart completely.

I already had one of these and got a second because my husband and I share the vacuuming. I love the fact it is super quiet and does a great job on hardwoods and area rugs. This is a slightly newer model than my first and the only thing I noticed is the newer one is not as quiet as the older--but it's still way quieter than any other vacuum I've ever had. All my kitties stay out while we vacuum, where as with the older louder ones, many would run and hide!
