Editorial Review:

Product Description:
Revere, 3 QT Stainless Steel Covered Saucepan, Copper Clad Bottom.

Amazon.com Review:
Classically straight-sided, this 3-quart saucepan is perfect for making sauces, heating soups, and preparing countless other foods. The phenolic handles and knob are oven-safe to 350 degrees F, so the pan can be used to braise or warm foods in the oven under its tight-fitting lid. Revere's Copper Clad cookware is made of handsome, mirror-finish, 18/10 stainless steel. Copper is cookware's best heat conductor, and each pot or pan has a copper-clad bottom that spreads heat quickly and evenly. The pan has a loop on its handle for hanging on a hook or peg, carries a 25-year warranty against defects, and should be hand washed. --Fred Brack

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - great product, worth every penny!
I bought this pan because I have a Revere set that I have had for 15+years. It didn't come with this size. Once I found it I bought it to go with the collection. This is great cookware that will last a lifetime. My Mom has had hers for over 40 years and it still looks great!

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - COPPER PAN
THE COPPER BOTTOM PAN WAS EXACTLY WHAT WE WERE REPLACING AND IT WORKS JUST FINE.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Copper-bottom Revere Ware
At least one of the reviews referred to the heat conductivity of the copper-bottom pot. Uh, wrong. The thin flash of copper on the Revere pots is for appearance's sake. If you want smooth, even heat you have to find the pots with the aluminum disk bonded to the bottom. Several years ago, Consumer Reports did a piece on this with thermographs of the bottoms of the different types of pot; if you're interested and in particular if anyone wants to argue the merits of Revere's copper-coated pots, it'll ... Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - the lid fit poorly and the handle got hot quickly from the steam
This Revere 1400 Line 3-Quart covered saucepan has a copper bottom and is light weighted. Those are actually the qualities I wanted. Unfortunately, the lid did not fit well so the steam traveled up to the handle and made the handle extremely hot very quickly. I certainly got my fingers burnt the first time I used the saucepan.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - No Longer Made in USA...but Looks Like One That Was.
I received the 3 Quart Saucepan as a gift and was eager to compare it to the one I have had for almost 20 years. I have read other reviews that complain that the pan is "light weight" and "made in China." I found this pan to be of the same weight as my old pan with the same rivet construction and copper-clad base. The copper bottom is stamped "Indonesia" unlike my old version which is stamped "Rome, NY." While I'm disappointed it is no longer manufactured in the United States, I will say that it still ... * Canister (or cylinder) designs have the motor and bag in a separate canister unit (usually mounted on wheels) connected to the vacuum head by a flexible hose. Although upright units have been tested as more effective (mainly because of the beaters), the lighter, more manoeuverable heads of canister models are popular. Some upmarket canister models have "power heads", which contain the same sort of mechanical beaters as in upright units, although such beaters are driven by a separate electric motor.
